More Power! Corsa’s Carbon Fiber Air Intake for the Corvette C8

When Chevrolet announced the all new eighth generation Corvette, everyone was incredibly excited for the all new platform featuring an engine that for the previous seven generations was in the front. This new Corvette C8 pitted the car against some rivals that were already rear or mid engine and had an exotic factor that drew many enthusiasts to them.

So when Chevy announced the Corvette C8 and said the power figures are going to be under 500hp, needless to say that many enthusiasts weren’t too pleased from a numbers standpoint. To get a Corvette C8 with big power would require them to wait for the Corvette Z06. However, it didn’t take long for the aftermarket to address the concerns of what, on paper anyway, seemed to be a supercar killer that was lacking in the horsepower and torque department.

Corsa announced the release of their all new Corvette C8 Air Intake Kit that features their special DryTech air filters that do not require any oiling. Historically, oiled air filters tend to trap and catch more dirt, but they also can clog sensors when the oil from the air filter can drip off over time. Corsa addressed this concern with a dry air filter that requires no oil and has a 50,000 mile filter service interval to ensure you don’t need to spend too much time cleaning your air filter.

And we haven’t even gotten to the best part. How does an extra 14 horsepower and 13 lb feet of torque sound – with no tune required? From just a free flowing air intake!

This intake is made from 100% carbon fiber construction, has a machined mass air flow mounting bracket, a free flowing high performance air filter, and it looks AWESOME under the hood! This should be one of the first Corvette C8 parts you add to your car!

Corsa is so convinced their Corvette C8 air intake is one of the best on the market that they back it up with a lifetime warranty.
